On this day 10 years ago, Shane Warne graced the second Test of the Ashes in Adelaide with one of his finest spells. With the match seemingly destined for a draw, the Aussie’s mastery ensured the final day would be a dramatic one.

Holding a 97-run lead for the loss of one wicket in their second innings, England were forced onto the back foot when Warne took the attack to them.

He sent Andrew Strauss and Kevin Pietersen back to the pavilion before fizzing one off the turf to dismiss Ashley Giles in the slips and bowled out Matthew Hoggard.

His figures of 4-49 bowled out England for 129, leaving the hosts to chase down 168 with 36 overs remaining. They did it in 32.5 to win.
