The group of six players – Alex Hupe, Rayyan Versi, Adam Soliman, Hammam Abdelrazig, Simon Galviz, Jack Manson – will spend four weeks attending four different camps across a variety of top universities.

The programme gives the group the opportunity to showcase their skills to a host of reputable Ivy League, Division One, Two and Three universities.

In preparation, the players haveundergone academic, strength and conditioning and football programming since last September.

The players, who all have serious potential, have been carefully identified by E-Sports Director of Football, Terry Kidd.

“This year we are pleased to confirm participation at four camp locations – Villanova, Stanford, Michigan and the Future 500 ID camp in Philadelphia,” said Kidd.

“With over 75 schools represented at each location, the volume of exposure is substantial and second to none.”

While technical skills will be assessed, EFC will also work closely together with the students and parents and have collaborated with educational service provider A-List.

Kidd added: “We identify that school and sport come hand in hand and are the best marriage for any aspiring young athlete who has the desire to play the game at the highest level whilst gaining a full education through a scholarship programme in the USA.

“With A-List we have found the ideal partner off the pitch to support the boys with a local SAT/ACT preparation course.”

To ensure the six players are in fine condition, Dubai-based Fit Republik have stepped up with a strength and conditioning programmes to ensure the youths will be ready to perform to the standards expected within the camps.

“We make sure that the kids are fully prepared and also confident to face the challenges that lie ahead,” added Kidd.

“With a full programme covering everything from football sessions over fitness and strength training right up to the SAT preparations – the group will be ready to showcase themselves in the US.

“This should be the journey for all aspiring academics and talented athletes. The US can provide the best platform to excel in both.”

The four camps that the six players will attend are: Future 500 ID camp in Eastern University, Philadelphia Villanova Showcase Camp at Villanova University, Stanford University ID Camp (Stanford University) and Michigan ID Camp at Michigan University.
