WATCH: UAE Ultimate Frisbee team prepare for World Championships

The UAE National Mixed team will face off against 29 other countries later this month at the WFDF 2016 World Ultimate and Guts Championships (WUGC2016), to be held in London from June 18 to 25.

Twenty-eight Ultimate players from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including two Emiratis, will represent the UAE at the global competition for the first time. The co-ed team is also the only team from the Middle East at this year’s competition.

The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), the international governing body for Ultimate and other flying disc sports, expects more than 2,500 athletes from 42 countries to compete in WUGC2016.
