Soul Art Center, located in Downtown Dubai, is the brainchild of Lama Mardini. The Syrian gave up her full-time job to open the boutique studio so others can embrace their inner passion of dancing or creating art.
“I’ve always been fascinated with the numerous forms of art and dance that can be found across different continents,” said founder Mardini. “Whether it’s expressionist art that has its roots in the early 20th century or hip hop dance styles that became popular in the 1960s, Soul Art Centre will offer a revolving menu of classes and workshops for everyone to experience.”
No matter your interest or preferred style, the studio’s diverse choice of classes and workshops will keep you coming back for more. For those who want to dance along to the latest popular hits, Afrobeats/Hip Hop will have you breaking, locking and popping like the coolest dance crews in the US.
Time to get creative: A revolving menu of art classes for all ages are available.
Fitness fanatics, meanwhile, can get their sweat on in Zumba with both low and high intensity moves for interval-style training, all while moving to Latin beats in a fun cardio-crusher.
Release your inner Van Gogh in the Paint Jour workshop, where you can enjoy music, coffee, tea and croissants while creating on your next work of art.
Not only can kids get involved, they’re encouraged to show off their artistic skills in Messy Time, where you and your toddler can let the paint brush run freely, or in Recycled Arts, in which youngsters can learn the significance of using recyclable materials for other uses. Soul Art Center is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, with classes spread out throughout the week.
