The Dubai Cup Polo Tournament had a great double action day on Wednesday afternoon at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club with victories from UAE Polo Team and Habtoor Polo.

UAE Polo defeated Mahra by 7 goals to 5 and Habtoor Polo beat Dr. A 8 to 4.5.

In UAE Polo vs Mahra game, Mario Gómez, Mahra Polo player was replaced in the first chukka by Daniel Gariador.

With this results, Habtoor Polo, Mahra and UAE Polo will play a shoot out on Friday to decide who will play the final of the Dubai Cup against Bin Drai, already qualified.

Shoot out will be held on Friday from 10 am at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club.

Mohammed Al Habtoor, Founder of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, promoted this new medium goal tournament in addition to the polo circuit in Dubai.

“I launched the Dubai Polo Gold Cup in 2009 and it has grown into one of the most prestigious – and highest handicap – polo events in the region. Tournaments like these enhance Dubai’s position as a leading polo destination”, said Mohammed Al Habtoor, Patron of the Habtoor Polo team.

The medium goal tournament, 8-10 goal handicap, will be held at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club from Monday April 6, 2015 to Friday April 10, 2015.
