Registration closes on Tuesday November 22 at 5pm for the new program, which is designed to train locals from the UAE in equestrian skills.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the academy is offering scholarships to Emiratis seeking to learn about horse breeding and racing.

The academy will take on eight men and women who demonstrate enthusiasm and love for horse riding.

Ali Al Ali, head of Masar Godolphin, said: “Godolphin has always been Dubai’s Home Team and Masar Godolphin offers a unique and rare opportunity for young UAE nationals to immerse themselves in the world of thoroughbred horse breeding and racing, and perhaps one day, help contribute to the success of Godolphin.

“I am very encouraged by the significant number of applications we have received to date and urge those who are interested, but have not applied, to do so this week.”

The course will initiate in Dubai, afterwards students will be sent to the United Kingdom and Ireland for practical training.
