The Abu Dhabi Tour’s official Fan Zone opened its doors to the public on Friday in the build-up to the capital’s cycling showpiece that kicks off on Thursday.

Located at the Nation Towers complex in Abu Dhabi, the Fan Zone will be open every day, until October 24, Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 and Thursday to Saturday 12:00 to 23:00.

Activities include an area dedicated to kids, hosted in the Nation Towers Galleria, where hour-long bike classes will be held on October 14, 21 and 22 from 16:00 to 20:00.

This educational activity is to familiarise students with the history of the bicycle, the benefits of cycling and safety on the road.

In recent weeks, the Abu Dhabi Tour’s educational staff have been welcomed in several schools in Abu Dhabi to showcase this project. Fans can also visit the Abu Dhabi Tour’s sponsors’ booths as well as the official information point, with the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the Abu Dhabi Tour trophy.

The immersive cycling atmosphere will be perfect for children and adults with special events to be revealed day by day.

Nation Towers will be the main venue for the Abu Dhabi Tour and the adjacent St. Regis hotel will host the UCI Cycling Gala, where the Tour’s teams and riders will be honoured on Tuesday, October 18.
