The second of four Build-Up rides will take place at Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District One Cycle Track on Friday 7th October and cyclists can still register to take part at www.cyclechallenge.ae.

As well as providing a dedicated event for keen cyclists, the locally-owned supermarket chain, Spinneys, will be on hand to keep the cyclists fuelled with their food trucks, smoothie makers and water before and after the challenge.

More than 500 cyclists took part in the first event in preparation for the largest cycling event in the Middle East. The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge started in 2010, and now attracts cycling enthusiasts from all over the world with over 2,500 expected to enter this year.

“The cycle season gets bigger and better each year and thanks must go to the Dubai Sports Council for their continued support in making each event a success,” said a spokesperson for the race. “We are looking forward to welcoming all cyclists at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District One Cycle Track as the hard work continues in preparation for the 92km challenge.”

The remaining Build-Up rides will both be held at AL Qudra, with the third ride on 28th October on a 65km course, and the fourth one on 25th November on an 85km course.
