Bentley Habtoor Polo and RJI Capital Oxbridge claim wins in British Polo Day Dubai

The Habtoor team clinched a 6-2 victory over Royal Salute British Exiles in the British Polo Day Cup.

In what was an enthralling encounter, Marcos Panelo and Guillermo Cutino registered the goals, with brothers Mohammed Al Habtoor and Habtoor Al Habtoor providing strong support.

Elsewhere, Execu-Jet Guards overcame British Silverware Cavalry 1-0 in camel polo.

Swapping camels for pedals, Hackett Rest of World beat Taylor Morris UAE 3-0 in Brompton bicycle polo.

These preceded the highly-anticipated match between RJI Capital Oxbridge and Shangri-La Dubai Gulf Polo, which RJI won by the slenderest of margins (3-2).

‘Poderoso’, ridden by Guillermo Cutino, was named Jaeger-LeCoultre’s ‘Best Playing Pony’ by Marc de Panafieu.

Saif Al Ghurair picked up the Holland & Holland ‘Shot of The Day’.
