The great Muhammad Ali was notorious for taunting his opponents and a select few sport stars since have dabbled in similar antics.

The trick to pulling it off though is to be good enough to warrant it, if you’re not, or if you take it too lightly, you’re flirting with the danger of being utterly humiliated and that’s precisely what happened to Joe Harding.

The Colchester featherweight took on John Segas at BCMMA 18 in Essex and despite gaining momentum in the match, it will be one he’ll want to forget.

Harding was dominant early on and had Segas backing away from him at which point he thought it wise to pull out his dance moves.

Segas was having none of it though and pounced on the opportunity to strike, landing solid high kick to his complacent opponent’s jaw to knock his lights out.

After a thorough medical check, Harding did manage to walk away from the scene of his humiliation with his jaw intact, his pride less so.
