Mayweather Jr. took to social media on Wednesday night to take a few jabs at McGregor for tapping out in his fight against Nate Diaz in UFC 196.

The two fighters have been going back and forth since rumours surfaced that both champions were interested in a super fight under boxing rules.

Irishman McGregor recently obtained his boxing license in California in an attempt to upstage Mayweather, but the latter’s camp insist that the move was just a publicity stunt to stir up controversy.

In his Instagram post, Mayweather tells his fans to stay tuned, raising hopes of a possible bout in the future.

Interest in this fight will ultimately grow, especially if the UFC star begins to respond to these social media attacks.
