The Dubai Rugby Sevens doesn’t kick off until the end of the year, but celebrations for the much-anticipated event begin this weekend with the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens launch party.

Whether you’re a fan of the sport or just want to enjoy the festive atmosphere, the launch party is the place to be on Saturday.
To be held at the Emirates Golf Club’s Rugby Central from 18:00 and into the night, the Official Rugby World Cup 2015 fan zone will be full of music, entertainment, competition and cheerleaders.

Of course, with the Rugby World Cup matches going on, visitors can take in clashes between Japan and Samoa, South Africa and Scotland, as well as a heavyweight encounter between England and Australia.

Entrance to the party is completely free and if you arrive in fancy dress, you have the chance to walk away with some fantastic prizes for the most creative outfits.

The party will get you hyped for the upcoming Rugby Sevens, now in its 46th year.

Some of the world’s best players will flock to Dubai in December, with over 250 teams taking part in the Invitational Tournament and 32 teams in the Netball tournament, along with other entertainment to get crowds engaged.

For those who haven’t scooped up their tickets yet, they will be on sale at the launch party and if you buy one, you’ll receive a free beverage.
