Martina Hingis is thrashing opponents with doubles partner Sania Mirza these days, but her singles career wasn’t too shabby either.

Hingis, who turns 35 today, is considered an all-time great for her impressive accomplishments, which include winning five grand slam titles – Wimbledon once, the US Open once and the Australian Open three times.

She spent a total of 209 weeks as the world No1 and has set several youngest-ever records, such as the youngest grand slam singles champion of the 20th century and youngest world No1 in singles and doubles.

Since coming out of retirement in 2013, Hingis has been a force on the doubles circuit, most recently partnering with Mirza to win back-to-back grand slam titles at Wimbledon and the US Open this year.

She was elected into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2013, but continues to add to her résumé.
