John Arne Riise plays left back for Delhi Dynamos FC in the Indian Super League but is more famously remembered in football circles for his seven year stint with Liverpool in the Premier League. 

The red-haired Norwegian, 34 today, became a firm favourite on the Kop having helped the team to Champions League success in 2005 and an FA Cup title the next season.

With 110 caps, Riise is the most-capped player for the Norwegian, scoring 17 goals before his retirement from international duty in 2013.

1981: Ryan Briscoe, Australian professional racing driver who has races open wheel and sports cars in Europe and America (33).
