As the UAE temperatures begin to cool, live sporting action is ramping up. There is something to suit every taste over the next seven days including a giant water slide, desert fitness challenge and the resumption of the AGL.

CITY SLIDE DUBAI

Friday, 25th September

To all the Dubai thrill-seekers, the wait for the longest waterslide is over. du Live City Slide is coming for the first time to the streets of Dubai to give it a slippery makeover during Eid-Al-Adha.

City Slide is an international family friendly slip and slide waterslide event where two 500-meters long waterslides are set-up in the middle of the city to give you an unforgettable summer experience.

Apart from the crazy waterslide, du Live City Slide event will also have rounds of water balloon bights at regular intervals, water guns and other attractions like the aqua rides, DJ Arena, a concert and much more.

DUBAI DESERT ROAD RUN

Saturday, 26th September

Allowing newbies and experienced runners to track their progress over the months of a year, the Desert Road Run takes place multiple times in a year and participants can measure how well they perform at each run.

There will be a 10K run that is open to runners 14 years and older and a 3K fun run that is open to children from ages 6 onwards to adults as well.
