UAE Summer Camps: Active Sports Academy

Sport360 staff

22:16 13/07/2015

It may be hot outside, but Active Sports Academy Summer Camps promise to be cool for the participants.

Firmly believing that ‘Staying Active’ is the name of the game, they focus on sports-based group games and activities that encourage team work and cooperation, in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

Groups are divided by age so Active staff can lead age-appropriate activities with basketball, rounders, swimming, dodgeball and tennis among the all-time favourites.

All professional coaches are First Aid trained and the venues are safe, so parents can have peace of mind that their little ones are being well looked after, while they use up some of that wonderful childhood energy.

The camps are open to children aged four to 14 years, starting from June 28 until August 27.

This summer, the camps will be held at two venues – Regent International School in The Greens and the Ontario International Canadian School in Mirdif.

The rates are Dh150 per day, Dh400 for three days in a week and Dh650 for five days in a week. Sibling discount of 20 per cent is available, and there is an extra 10 per cent discount on bookings of four consecutive weeks or more. Trip day activities are at no add-itional cost.

Active are also introducing extra free activities this summer, covering important subjects such as healthy eating, anti-bullying and first aid, through fun sessions with their partner companies.
