Nottingham Forest retained the European Cup in 197980, beating Hamburg 1–0 in Madrid, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, thanks to an outstanding performance by goalkeeper Peter Shilton.

They also won the European Super Cup and two League Cups.

The English club was a dominant force in the 70's and early 80's led by Brian Clough.

2011: Barcelona won the Champions League by beating Manchester United 3-1 in the final at Wembley.
