HAMDAN BIN MOHAMMED 5TH INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP U18
Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 19

Launched in 2009 this event has become very popular among fans and players alike with teams such as AC Milan and Real Madrid participating going up against local Dubai clubs. The competition forms part of Dubai Sport Council’s strategic plan to boost performance levels of grassroots & youth, so that they be able to join professional experiences and to guide teams in the future.

DUBAI DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP
Monday, April 13 – Tuesday, April 14

Referred to sometimes as “Horse Ballet”, Dressage is a sport of Kings and requires great skill and discipline from both the Jockeys and their horses. The sport requires the rider to direct his/her horse with precision to accomplish certain moves and stances with minimal aid. The Dubai Dressage Championships will be held at the Emirates Equestrian Centre and is open for free viewing to the public.

ABU DHABI 3X3 BASKETBALL TOUR
Thursday, April 16 – Friday, April 17

Exciting, urban and innovative, 3×3 basketball is inspired by several forms of street-ball played worldwide. The event sees two teams of three players (plus one substitute) face-off on a basketball half-court. According to the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3×3 basketball is the most popular urban team sport in the world, with over 250 million players.

THE SAND PIT 
Friday, April 17

The Sand Pit is an un-timed 10k obstacle challenge that tests your physical and mental abilities. At The Sand Pit you will experience how tough you really are and how necessary your team and teamwork really is to accomplish a daunting challenge. There will also be an after-party for all to celebrate individual/team achievements.

GLOBAL FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (SERIES 3)
Friday, April 17

Series 3 of the Global Fighting Championship returns to Dubai. The series is a kick-off for a 5 series Grand Prix around the world. With a number of fighters chosen and a schedule of exciting fights, the final two players will be fighting for an AED 1 million cash prize.

RUSH-A-WAY: THE URBAN SCAVENGER HUNT
Friday, April 17

Teams of two will race in their own cars around Dubai, challenging their mental abilities, physical fitness and navigation skills. Upon completion of a challenge the team will recieve a clue which will lead them to their next task location. The team that arrives at the finish line first, after completing all challenges, will win the prizes on offer.

ETHIAD RUN FOR A CAUSE
Friday, April 17

This charity run aims to raise funds to support a special needs center in Fujairah, the Green house project of Al Wagan center in Al Ain and the renovation of a school in Kakamega town – western Kenya. Open to all schools, organisations and residents in the UAE, the run is organized by Etihad Airways.
