Reports suggest that the Brazilian international arrived at Carrington on Monday. Sky Sports reporter and Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims the midfielder has already passed his medical.
An announcement is expected to be made within 24 hours.

Pakistan batsman Fawad Alam just can’t catch a break nowadays. He is not considered good enough to be even part of the touring team, despite being one of the most prolific batsmen in Pakistan’s first-class cricket for 10 years, even as limited overs players and batsmen with modest returns getting Test caps.
Fawad’s exclusion has left many, including the player himself, perplexed. And just to add to the bemusement, the 32-year-old batsman managed to get himself timed out this week.
It’s no secret that Madison Keys has had a complicated relationship with clay over the years but the 23-year-old American is probably developing positive feelings about the red dirt now that she has made it into the Roland Garros quarter-finals for the first time.
