Mahra beat Wolves to reach Dubai Gold Cup final

Mahra Polo defeated  Wolves Polo by 8 goals to 5 and will play the final of the Polo Masters Cup next Tuesday, February 14 at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort.

After winning their second match in a row, the team consisting of patron Rashid Al Habtoor, Daniel Gariador, Juan Ruiz Guinazu and Jeronimo del Carril will play the deciding match of this tournament, where they defend their title after winning the 2016 edition.

Mahra and Wolves played an exciting match, with full-speed action and great goals. A 3-0 lead in the first seven minutes gave Mahra a handy lead for the rest of the game.

Wolves never gave up and with Ezequiel Gallego and Isidro Strada pushing hard from the back positions managed to put some pressure on Mahra in the second and last chukker. But, ultimately, Mahra achieved a deserved victory and the ticket to the Polo Masters Cup final.

Jeronimo del Carril (Mahra) with 6 goals was the top scorer of the match and Isidro Strada, with 4, the scorer in Wolves team.
