Sports fans across the UAE can circle Wednesday 11th June into their diaries following the news Dubai Sports World (DSW), the region’s much-anticipated indoor summer sports extravaganza, will be open free-of-charge on its opening day.

To celebrate the fourth annual Dubai Sports World, organiser Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has waived all entry and booking fees at the region’s largest indoor summer sports venue for day one of the 81-day multi-sports spectacular.

Occupying Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 and 2 and the multi-purpose Trade Centre Arena, visitors can take advantage of eight, professional-standard indoor pitches for either five or seven-a-side football and rugby.

With six badminton courts, one volleyball court, three basketball courts, one tennis court, a skate-boarding and BMX park, a state-of-the-art gym and a 600-metre running track, Dubai Sports World is a purpose-built facility to help sports lovers beat the summer heat.

Open daily from 8am to midnight, Dubai Sports World will run from June 11 to August 31. It is organised in association with Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment, and supported by Dubai Municipality, Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.
