The Indian cricketer still has a long and successful career ahead of him, but at the age of 28, which he turns today, he’s already become one of the sport’s major superstars.

Kohli is regarded as one of the finest batsmen in the world, terrorising bowlers with India and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.

He holds a number of records, including the fastest ODI century, the fastest batsman to score 5,000 ODI runs, fastest to 10 ODI centuries, fastest to 1,000 T20I runs and the most T20I fifties. Kohli also became the first Indian to score two Test double centuries as a captain.

For his efforts, he’s received the ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2012 and the BCCI’s international cricketer of the year for the 2011-12 and 2014-15 seasons. When’s he in form at the crease, there are few better in the game.
