The seven-match ODI series between India and Australia in 2013 was dominated by batsmen, with plenty of scores of 300 or more.

The final match of the series was a run-fest as the Indians raked up 383 for six, thanks mainly to Rohit Sharma’s 209 off 158 balls.

The knock included an astonishing 16 sixes and 12 boundaries, with Rohit becoming the third Indian to score an ODI double ton. In the chase, the Aussies gave the hosts a huge scare, with all-rounder James Faulkner smashing a 73-ball 116.

Australia were bowled out for 326 with almost five overs to spare. In all, a combined 38 sixes were hit in the match. Indians sealed the series 3-2.
