Former England striker Tony Cottee will feature in a Q and A evening with beIN sports presenter and Dubai-resident Rob McCaffrey at The West Beach Bistro & Sports Lounge.

Cottee featured for Premier League sides Everton, Leicester and West Ham in a goal-laden career and is currently working for Sky Sports and BBC Radio 5 Live.

Entrance is free with no reservations required. However, the event is strictly first-come-first-serve.

Pakistan vs West Indies – first Test

Pakistan will meet West Indies in the Asia’s first day-night Test in Dubai from Thursday.

West Indies will be hoping their Test series will deliver better performances and results, after being routed 3-0 in both the T20 and one-day internationals.

Zayed Sports City Pink 5k & 10k Run

Zayed Sports City’s pink run earned much acclaim and is expected to attract unprecedented running crowds this time around after winning the Best Amateur Event category at the 2016 Sports Industry Awards.

Catering to 5km and 10km runners, the course winds through the capital as athletes and onlookers show their support for breast cancer awareness.

Participants receive a Saucony shirt, medal and certificate for their effort.

NSL Cricket

This NSL returns for its third edition with 28 schools and 48 teams battling it out for national glory across U14 and U17 age categories in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.

Similar to last year’s format, the competition will be played with a round robin format in October and November, and competitors will return for the final rounds in January.

The U14 will be a 15 overs competition and the U17 will be a 20 overs competition.

Fitness Exhibition Middle East

The Fitness Exhibition Middle East will play host to a large gathering of professionals from across the Middle East and North Africa, providing the perfect opportunity for key industry players to network.

The two-day event is set to welcome over 300 products and services showcased by more than 100 exhibitors. But that’s not all, there will be fitness classes from internationally renowned, fitness centres available for free.

ROY NASR MEMORIAL TRIATHLON

TriDubai co-founder Roy Nasr passed away in 2013 but his legacy and passion for triathlon lives on through this memorial event.

The course at Jebel Ali Golf Resort begins with a swim along the serene waters of the Arabian Gulf, before participants pedal around the roads near the resort and finish back inside the grounds.
