Having made his debut for Roma in 1992, it’s hard to believe that Francesco Totti is still going strong especially at 40.

Roma through and through, when Totti does hang up his boots, he will go down as one of the greatest Italians to have played the game.

A creative offensive playmaker, renowned for his vision, technical ability, and goalscoring, the Italian has won a Serie A title, two Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italianas with Roma.

He’s also the most capped player in the club’s history with 763 appearances and has won five Italian Footballer of the Year awards as well as one Golden Boot. It’s easy to see why he’s nicknamed the Golden Boy.

On the international stage, his biggest highlight came in 2006, when he won the World Cup with Italy and became the oldest goalscorer in Champions League history.
