The Hungarian Grand Prix race starts at 4pm (UAE Time). You can follow all the action live through Sport360's LIVE UPDATES.

In both the first and second qualification races held this weekend, last year’s third place runner up Lewis Hamilton finished first on the circuit trials with a lap time of one minute 22.020 seconds.

He is looking to win a record fifth race at the Hungaroring as he looks to equal the record of the legendary Ayrton Senna, who gained 41 race victories from 161 starts.

Hamilton has managed to gain nine pole positions in 10 grands prix this season, which is a phenomenal achievement. His own stable mate of Mercedes, Nico Rosberg, achieved a runner’s up position on the grid.

Rosberg felt that the handling of the car jeopardized his chances of gaining pole position of Hamilton. He has yet to win at the Hungaroring in his career and will need to make up a half second to overthrow Hamilton on the track positions.

It will be a Mercedes frontline this weekend, with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel taking up third position and last year’s winner Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull forth.

Hamilton’s countryman, Jenson Button of McLaren, will start at 16th after suffering ERS failure and being down on power on track. He previously was a two time winner at the Hungaroring.

His team mate Fernando Alonso finished above him in 15th, even after being red flagged for wheeling his car into the pitlane after mechanical failure.
