Felipe Nasr will be paying his first F1 visit to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, but that won't deter the freshman from attempting to capitalize on his Sauber's ingrained attributes.

The Brazilian enjoyed an impressive entry into F1, finishing 5th on his Grand Prix debut in Australia, while producing some impressive drives and scoring points in China and in Monaco two weeks ago.

No doubt the rookie will arrive well prepared in Montreal and mindful of the venue's multiple challenges.

"It will be my first time driving on this track in Montreal. It is a challenging circuit because there are some tricky chicanes, but I think I am going to enjoy driving there. In order to prepare well, I will watch on-board videos."

Sauber has undoubtedly benefited from its Ferrari power unit's performance upgrade last winter as the C34's outright speed has rightly demonstrated. So points could be in the cards for the Swiss outfit.

"I am confident the many long straights could be a benefit for us as we do have a competitive straight-line speed," concluded Nasr.

"The track also requires good braking stability and traction."
