Sebastian Vettel topped the times for Ferrari in Saturday morning’s crash-curtailed rain-hit third and final free practice session ahead of Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix.

The four-time champion from Germany was at the top of the time-lists when the session was red-flagged with 12 minutes remaining, leaving his rivals with no chance to clock a flying lap in the final minutes.

Dutch teenager Max Verstappen was second quickest in his Red Bull ahead of Nico Rosberg and Finn Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari.

Defending three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who was quickest in both sessions on Friday, was fifth in the second Mercedes ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in the second Red Bull.
