A new CrossFit gym officially opened its doors last week and joined the ranks of Dubai’s CrossFit “boxes”!
Founded by Dubai trainers Reyhana Sallie and Andy Harper, the aptly named CrossFit Duo is located in The Waves Tower B in Dubai Marina, running CrossFit classes for all levels.

In addition to regular CrossFit group classes, the gym offers ladies-only classes, 30 minute ab blasts, endurance classes and, soon, CrossFit fundamentals for those new to CrossFit needing to be shown the proverbial ropes and build up the proper skills necessary to take on the WODs (workouts of the day) effectively.
The head coach, American Jonathan Medina, has a weightlifting background (he just scored a first place finish at the Kuwait Weightlifting Competition held this past weekend!) so those looking for expert tips on this front will have a good source of knowledge to perfect their olympic lifting technique.
CrossFit Duo is run by Iconic Fitness, a Dubai-based fitness company which also offers Personal Training, body transformation programs, nutrition programs and corporate training.
CrossFit membership rates are 1,200Dhs for a one month membership, 1000Dhs per month for a three month membership, and 950Dhs per month for a six month membership.
