SUMMER SOLSTICE CRAZY BONKERS – ABU DHABI RIDE

Now in its fifth year, the Last Exit Summer Solstice Crazy Bonkers Ride challenges participants to cycle 180km, 161km, 100km, 38km or 52km.

The event takes place one day after the ‘actual’ date of the Summer Solstice. It’s not a race but an opportunity to clock up kilometres in the middle of the summer, on what is close to the longest day/shortest night of the year.

IRONSTAR INDOOR TRIATHLON – RACE 2 and 3
Saturday, June 23 and Saturday, July 21

Endurance sports lovers can get back in the groove with Ironstar Indoor Triathlon Series’ second race of the season.

With five races across five summer months, the series aims to keep triathletes active during a time of the year when the heat takes away the option for outdoor activities.

By holding their triathlons indoors, Ironstar are giving athletes plenty of reason to keep swimming, running and biking during the summer.

The third race takes place on July 21.

GARDEN CITY THROWDOWN
Friday, June 29

The Garden City Throwdown is a two day regional event organised in Al AIn.

Taking place on the weekend of 29-30 June at Bawadi Mall, the event is open to male and female participants over the age of 16 in elite and scaled categories.
