You don’t have to belong to a gym or pay for classes to stay fit in Dubai!

In fact, it’s actually easily to workout without paying a dirham and keeping in good shape.

Getting outside in the sun, especially in the season of pleasant weather, is a great way to take in some Vitamin D and release endorphins.

Each of the four fitness spaces are free-to-use around the city:

DUBAI MARINA OUTDOOR GYM

Located directly opposite Dubai Marina Mall on the other side of the water, it is a popular spot for fitness-goers, particularly runners, to stretch off as well as complete some core, pull-up and dip exercises in-between their runs. The space, in preparation for the summer, has recently had sun shields placed over the equipment so you can workout all-year round without the equipment burning!

BURJ PARK

Could you find a more iconic setting in which to exercise? Probably not. Under the gaze of the Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building – work up a sweat on the grass right in the heart of Downtown. The park area was at the heart of last year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge and it’s perfectly placed to meet up with friends and grab a coffee afterwards.

SKYDIVE DUBAI

Undoubtedly one of the most well-known workout spots in the city, it has become a real hub for fitness lovers at all times of the day. If you love working out outside, this is the place to go and there’s a variety of classes that go on every evening. The adjacent artificial grass and park areas are also good for yoga and soft running.

Al Ittihad Park

A great place to exercise, the park, situated next to the Golden Mile Galleria on the Palm Jumeirah, has an array of workout stations and a running track. It gets busy in the evenings with many residents squeezing in some activity after work.
