The event was organised with an aim of promoting the healthy lifestyle and announce the grand opening of the Fit First Class boutique studio at the Beach Club.

Stewart Hodsoll, Director of Recreation at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana opened the event with an introduction about the events of the day and introduced the Fit First Class duo, Sahar and Hayden, who then spoke about their new studio and programs they offer. Hairwaves by Charbel covered the beauty section of the event with explanations about hair and beauty products and special advices on haircare for all the participants.

“The Wellness Awareness day is a great way to showcase our facilities and give our guests and visitors the opportunity to try new classes and learn more about health and fitness,” said Hodsoll. “In today’s society we see people struggling with health and weight on a daily basis and with these events we strive to show them that both by being focused on the workout and by believing in yourself they can do it. When it comes to reaching our fitness and health goals, there is no time like the present.”

Both Fit First Class and Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana’s fitness instructors had set ups for various classes in the fitness studios. Kid’s Yoga, Boxing, Zumba and many other classes were showcased with a high guest participation. A special space was secured for nutrition tips with healthy snacks and drinks prepared for the day.
