Luckily for us (and you and everyone!), Dubai’s awesome Skydive Dubai outdoor gym has had a pretty cool makeover to offer a workout playground like no other. New equipment has been added to the gym, which is now spread across a bigger area, as well as new flooring and a new sprint track and, best of all, shading over the entire area! There’s also a new kids play area.

If you prefer to train at night, outdoor lighting currently switches on at 6pm lasts for around two hours. There is no charge to use the gym area.

The outdoor gym is located at Dubai Marina, Al Seyahi Street – around 100 meters into the same road that leads to Skydive Dubai. Think climbing ropes, boxes, sprint track, monkey bars, and plenty of grass area for you to utilize for whatever workout you can dream up. Plus, if you have your own workout equipment – like a TRX, for example – there are specific bars you can use as an anchor point. We’ve even seen people come set up their silks there and do some silks training.

On most days the gym is frequented by individuals or groups doing various types of training and the area has also been known to be used by some of the city’s calisthenics enthusiasts, but there’s no need to be intimidated – the site is available for anyone to use and people of all levels can be spotted, including residents casually walking their dog who decide to stop for a run around.

There isn’t much surrounding the gym, so bring your water, towel and whatever else you need to keep you going.
