AL AIN EQUESTRIAN, SHOOTING & GOLF CLUB

The only golf club in the eastern city of Al Ain, the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club are offering summer golf packages for players from other emirates to come and experience their facilities.

The course also has night golf facilities on both its Championship and Academy courses.

Green fee offers: (valid until September 30) Championship Course: Off peak – 9 holes (Dh130); 18 holes (Dh175); Peak – 9 holes (Dh150); 18 holes (Dh200)

SHARJAH GOLF & SHOOTING CLUB

Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club has a full bouquet of offers this summer, including summer memberships, green fee and Academy deals. Until September 30, the only green golf course in Sharjah has great value green fees.

For walk-in 18 holes, the peak rates are Dh345 for guests and Dh290 for EGF members. Non peak rates are Dh265 and 210. For nine holes, the peak rates are Dh210/175 (guests/EGF), and nonpeak rates are Dh170/135.

Even better green fee deals are for Northern Emirates Summer Loyalty Pass holders (see adjacent box) and Summer Members. SGSC have a seven-day summer golf membership and a seven-day Academy membership going.

The golf membership is worth Dh999 for single and Dh1,799 for couples. Such members play for a nominal green fee of Dh110 peak and Dh80 non-peak for 18 holes and Dh60/45 for nine holes, but they also get access to other club facilities, including one 30-minute golf lesson.

Summer Members are also eligible for SGSC club competitions. The Academy membership is valued at Dh500 (Dh750 for couples) and gives players unlimited usage of the Academy and club facilities, and includes one 30-minute golf lesson as well. There are several Academy offers, including a ‘Create Your Own Package’, which entitles you to receive daily lessons for two weeks or one month. Rates start Dh820.

TOWER LINKS & AL HAMRA GOLF CLUB

Ras Al Khaimah’s Tower Links and Al Hamra have combined once again to offer some fantastic incentive for golfers from all over the UAE to make a trip to the Northern Emirates.

Tower Links: Green Fee: Dh245 peak (Friday and Saturday) and Dh200 off peak (weekdays)

Summer Pass: The Swing into Summer program is for Dh999 and gives you four months unlimited golf until September 30.

Evening Golf: The back nine of the golf course is floodlit.

RAK Summer Stay & Play: This includes two rounds of 18-hole golf – one at Al Hamra and one at Tower Links, one night stay at either Acacia or Mangrove Hotel (including breakfast) – single room is Dh550 and double occupancy is Dh425 per person.
