And Zane Scotland, winner of 10 titles on the Tour so far, will be looking for further glory and a chance to improve his world ranking when the 2016 Tour comes to the UAE for the first time after stints in Morocco and Spain.

Scotland has flown out of the gates in style, racking up a first, 11th and second place in the first three events of the tour in an impressive run of form which has propelled him to the familiar position on top of the Order of Merit standings.

With $15,759 (Dh58,000) in earnings, Scotland may have got his nose in front, but just barely as fellow Englishman Andrew Marshall ($15,217) is snapping at his heels and Scotland’s David Law ($9,000) is just another win away from usurping him.

Playing in his first season on the tour, Marshall, a two-time winner on the European Tour, has already announced his arrival by winning the inaugural El Jadida Championship in Morocco while Law made amends for his near misses with an inspired performance which saw the 24-year-old take the Sotogrande Masters by a record-equalling six-shot margin last month.

Marshall and Scotland will be joined by a host MENA Golf Tour winners, including England’s Lee Corfield, winner of four titles, at the Tower Links Golf Club.

Other notables in the field include England’s Miles Tunnicliff, who boasts four professional wins, including two on the European Tour and his compatriot James Allan, who turned professional earlier this season.
