Most golfers don’t practice their 3-iron skills at 3am in the morning but Belgian golfer Nicolas Colsaerts made an exception after starring in the Gary Player Invitational at the Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Golf coach Kevin Craggs posted a video of the 2012 Medinah European Ryder Cup star on his Instagram page hitting a golf ball through a narrow gap in his hotel window in the small hours of Tuesday morning.

Colsaerts, 33, who is known for his power-hitting and ability to strike the ball miles, cleared the hotel room’s balcony with ease and into the UAE capital’s night sky the ball went – much to the delight of ladies professional Melissa Reid and coach Craggs.
