Golf legend Tiger Woods cannot wait to make his playing return at the Ryder Cup.

United States captain Jim Furyk named Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau in his team on Tuesday – with Woods moving to the playing side. Furyk named David Duval, Zach Johnson and Matt Kuchar new vice captains.

“I haven’t been part of the team playing-wise for six years,” Woods said. “This year to have the honour of being able to play again is beyond special.”
