After seeing his US team fall to Europe at Le Golf National, American captain Jim Furyk offered an honest assessment of how the Ryder Cup played out.

Furyk recognised his side’s shortcomings, while also praising how Europe handled the pressure.

“Thomas was the better captain and their team outplayed us. And there’s nothing else more you can say. They deserved to win,” Furyk said.
