Petrolheads the world over will once again descend on the UAE capital throughout the weekend to soak up the atmosphere as newly-crowned world champion Lewis Hamilton gets set to celebrate his triumph, while all the other drivers will want to sign off for the 2015 season in style.

The Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will boast a carnival atmosphere but it is not just the race itself to enjoy.

As well as qualifying and two practice sessions, why not soak up the atmosphere of nearby Ferrari World, the first Ferrari-branded theme park in the world, which opened its doors to fans in 2010 and is currently the largest indoor theme park in the world.

Located on Yas Island and just a stone’s throw from the circuit, the park’s very own 90-minute “Pitstop Tour” allows guests who have purchased tickets to the Grand Prix to experience various attractions and shows.

The tour will include fantastic experiences such as the Tyre Change, Viva Ferrari Show, Galleria Ferrari, Driving with the Champions, Made in Maranello and Cinema Maranello.

The tour will be running every day until December 5 at a special rate of Dh95 per person.

“We want F1 fans to get a sense of the legendary Ferrari brand and its rich heritage during the F1 season,” said Victoria Lynn, park manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “We’ve included some of our popular attractions and activities that are related to the F1 in this tour which will help spread the Ferrari spirit.”

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi celebrates the spirit of the legendary marque and is home to numerous thrill rides, family-friendly attractions, state-of-the-art simulators, entertaining live shows as well as popular seasonal festivities that bring together extraordinary performances from around the globe.

With its ongoing expansion, the iconic red roof will be adding several record breaking rides in addition to the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa.

The unique experience on offer at the theme park caters to visitors of all ages in a climate-controlled environment, all year round.

Ferrari World is home to the world’s largest Ferrari Store and the Past and Present Store, a replica of Enzo Ferrari’s first garage.

The stores offer exclusive Ferrari collectibles and racing memorabilia for visitors to take home. Visitors can also choose from one of the five restaurants available at the park which celebrate authentic Italian culinary traditions, making it the place to live the true Ferrari story.
