Following nine consecutive years of success, the Streetball Championship aims to put on an even bigger show this time around, with plenty of basketball action and the beats of the DJ providing entertainment.

Teams of three will begin the tournament by playing a round robin format on the first day, before returning for the knockout stage on day two.

With players as young as 14 participating, the tournament anticipates 65 to 80 teams in the field this year, along with an audience of over 500 spectators.

The divisions teams can choose to play in are: men’s elite, men’s open, men 6’ and under, women elite, women open, boys 16-18 and boys 14-15.

Following the crowning of the 3-on-3 champion, a slam dunk and 3-point competition will be held.

The competitions are open to all residents of the UAE and you don’t have to play in the tournament to be eligible to enter.

If you’re a rim-rocker, come and bust out your bag of tricks to walk away with the title of top dunker, while sharpshooters can show off their range and deadly marksmanship to be name the 3-point king.

Streetball isn’t complete without tunes so DJ Mo Tiger will keep the atmosphere hyped up with MC Money Plus on both days of the event.

The prize money for winners will also be the most ever given by any Streetball Championship since its inception, with over Dh55,000 up for grabs.
