Get ready for a colourful Halloween with the return of the NeoRun, serving up thrills and chills this weekend.

The first-ever UV paint fun run in the Middle East makes its way to Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Sports City tonight for a night to remember with the brightest race attractions and spooky colour zones.

Though it’s a fun run, participants should swap the usual athletic gear for costumes of your favourite ghouls and monsters. Get creative and come with a scary outfit ready to get covered in UV paint.

Once on the course, brace yourself for a neo-underworld with surprises around the corner. You can run or walk through the Glo zones as you encounter the haunted house and demon dolls before reaching the finish line.

Once you’ve crossed the final stretch, the ongoing Enigma party will keep you entertained as you dance the night away to tunes bumped by various DJs.

Don’t miss out on what will be the spectacle of this Halloween, with limited tickets still available.

“We are absolutely thrilled by the sales of our tickets. Obviously this time, we have the Halloween theme so there will a lot of spooky things on the course,” said Bethany Powell of RedFilo events, organisers of the NeoRun.

“The NeoRun is a lot different to any other run that you find in the Middle East because of the UV paint. People will find that there are four paint cannons and people will have lots of fun.”

Tickets are Dh165 for individuals and Dh600 for a group of four. They can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.ae or at Zayed Sports City ahead of the event.

Included in the cost for runners is the Glo Gear, which consists of a NeoRun t-shirt, a neo bib with your personalised runner’s number, a flash band, goggles and a neo sabre to light up the night.

Guests should arrive no later than 17:00, with the race beginning at 20:00 and the Enigma party running until 23:30.

Shuttle buses are available from Al Jafiliya Metro Station in Dubai to Zayed Sports City and back again, purchasable through www. ticketmaster.ae for Dh55.
