The Rugby World Cup is one of the most iconic sporting competitions in the world and there are few places better to watch this weekend’s semi-final showdowns than at Kickers Sports Bar in the heart of Dubai Sports City.

– RWC: Richie McCaw relishing ‘brutal’ Springboks clash
– #360business: All Blacks land partnership with Bulgari

The brand-new venue is barely six months old, having been opened in March this year, and is one of the best places to be in Dubai as the 2015 RWC gets to the business end of the competition.

Located in the largest multi-discipline sports complex in Dubai, rugby fans can catch all the sporting action on the field on the TV and projector screens.

Kickers is home to as many as 12 50-inch TV screens as well as three massive LED projector screens over 100 inches each which puts you in the thick of it. Kickers can house 300 people and takes pride in being the only non-smoking indoor sports bar.

The atmosphere at Kickers promises to be as electric as being in the stadium itself for supporters cheering their favorite team, whether it’s Australia, South Africa, Argentina or the reigning champions and hot favourites, New Zealand.

Up first in the crucial last four clashes is South Africa v New Zealand today, kicking off at 19:00. Can Heyneke Meyer’s Springboks pull off what will be arguably one of the greatest ever World Cup victories by knocking off the All Blacks, who are looking in ominous form after their 62-13 dismantling of France in the quarter-finals.

The second semi-final being played tomorrow is an equally enthralling encounter between Australia and Argentina.

The Wallabies look to have rediscovered their swagger under Michael Cheika, but their 35-34 last eight victory against Scotland was tinged with controversy as Bernard Foley knocked over a debateable late penalty.

On the other hand, the Pumas will be slight underdogs but Daniel Hourcade’s men won’t mind that one bit. They were electrifying as they put Ireland to the sword 43-20 in their last match and they will certainly fancy their chances of reaching a first-ever World Cup final. This game also kicks off at 19:00.

Apart from all the action, Kickers also offers a great selection of food and has a huge outdoor section. There are plenty of World Cup promotions available, including free t-shirts and merchandise.

Apart from all this, there is also favourites like happy hour, Friday brunch as well as ladies night offers So, whether you want to cheer on your favorite team or simply want to sit back and relax, come and kick it at Kickers.
