Since opening in Dubai in January 2001, Seville’s has grown in popularity and is now the official fan club of FC Barcelona in the UAE.

And they are no strangers to broadcasting live sporting events having beamed last year’s World Cup games as well as many La Liga and Champions League clashes.

Hundreds turned out to watch the latter stages of the Spanish domestic season last month where Luis Enrique’s side clinched La Liga and the Copa del Rey, and tonight’s game in Berlin promises to be no different.

With one massive television screen in the outdoor terrace and two 75-inch plasmas indoors, viewers will not miss that important goal, save or tackle in European football’s most prestigious club tournament.

“The screens are huge that wherever you stand or sit, you won’t miss the action. It’s an important thing for us as the television views help the fans enjoy their visit to Seville’s, whether they are sitting indoors or outdoors” said Mariano Andres, general manager of Pyramid restaurants (WAFI hospitality, food and beverage).

“So far we have 300 people booked in for Saturday but we expect that number to increase considerably to maybe 500 to 700. During the World Cup last year, the atmosphere was electric and when Barcelona won their two titles this season, it was simply amazing.”

Renowned as a Spanish bar and tapas restaurant, Seville’s is an award-winning establishment which has become a famous brand in Europe.

Besides watching the game, fans can indulge themselves with some delicious hot and cold Spanish dishes. There will also be special promotions on beverages, including four bottles for Dh100.

With the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Carlos Tevez, Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo in action, it promises to be a match not to be missed, especially as one team will claim the treble.

“We have plenty of space and you will get a good view of the screen,” said Andres. “We also welcome any fans of whichever club you support and this match will be no different. We look forward to a fantastic game.”
