Adding a Tropical twist, you can see for yourself why it’s dubbed as the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’, with the event set to turn the iconic Yas Marina Circuit into an island-style paradise on March 25.

Now in its fourth edition in the capital, the Color Run, presented by Daman’s ActiveLife, has proved to be a massive hit, attracting thousands of people of different ages. Whether you run, walk or even crawl your way around the track, the emphasis is on fun.

Runners will experience an all-new Tropicolor Zone on course, where they will be showered in a bright array of colours and sweet scents as they make their way through the shade of palm trees, arches and island-style music.

A new feature on the 5km course is the Rainbow Beach, where you can keep the party going at the Finish Festival with dancing, photo opportunities just some of the things you can look forward to.

“Only The Color Run can transform a 5k run into a 5k vacation and we are excited to welcome both new and returning Color Runners to the Abu Dhabi leg of the The Color Run Tropicolor World Tour on 25 March,” said Greg Sproule, managing director of IMG Middle East.

“No checked luggage, no layovers, no middle seats; thousands of Color Runners around the world have been whisked away to paradise just by stepping out their front doors.”

Ticket prices start at Dh50 for kids and Dh160 for adults. All runners will receive a limited-edition Race Pack with a Tropicolor T-Shirt, an embroidered headband, fun temporary tattoos and a tropical flower lei. Those opting for Deluxe tickets at Dh260, will also get VIP parking, a tutu, party sunglasses, socks and a wristband for the ultimate Tropicolor look.
