Obstacle race lovers in the UAE can rejoice as the Desert Warrior Challenge is back with an even more demanding course for 2016.

The adventure takes place on Friday, October 21 at Al Rawia Training Field in Dubai with distances for all ages and fitness levels.

Since being established in 2014, the Desert Warrior Challenge has become a popular fixture in the outdoor season. Along with offering an atmosphere for a fun physical challenge, the event also inspires team-work and social skills, making it perfect for co-workers, friends and family.

If you want to supplement your fitness routine or get it started, the Desert Warrior Challenge will push you to the brink as you run, crawl, jumpy, carry, climb and slide your way to the finish line.

The courses available are the ‘Junior Warrior’, spanning 1km to 2km for ages six to 15, along with the 5km ‘Fearless Warrior’ and 10km ‘Ultimate Warrior’ for ages 16 and above.

New to this year is the introduction of the ‘Extreme Warrior’, which will be the first 20km obstacle race to be run in the Middle East. Open to all participants aged 16 and over, the 20km course will have an intimidating 30 obstacles in total.
