Whether you want to try out exciting water sport activities or just fancy a day on the beach, you will not be short of options for entertainment at Wadi Adventure Al Ain.

Since opening their doors at the beginning of 2012, the venue has become one of the top attractions in the UAE, drawing in thousands of visitors each year.

And if you want to see for yourself why it’s highly rated, it’s still business as usual with the park open throughout summer.

“Wadi Adventure Al Ain is the Middle East’s first and only manmade whitewater rafting, kayaking, surfing and wakeboarding facility that caters to both local and international water sport athletes alongside the general public of the UAE,” said Nilesh Mistry, general manager at Wadi Adventure Al Ain.

“With it nestled in Green Mubazzarah with the backdrop of the iconic Jebel Hafeet Mountains, it makes the ultimate outdoor activity spot young and old.”

It’s a place where you will be spoilt for options.

If you’ve been inspired by the Olympics, you can try out kayaking with a number of water channels that will give you a challenge.

If you fancy a bit of surfing, you can do exactly that. In the region’s largest surf pool, you can book lessons with qualified instructors or just have fun on the waves.

Fun for all ages: Wadi Adventure is the ideal spot for a family day out.

As well as the open beach, the children can look forward to having a great time in the Kids Splash zone.

“This area adds a zest to a great family day out and is the perfect way to soak up the sun and enjoy family time,” said Mistry.

“We have a certified team of lifeguards meaning the visitors will be able to enjoy themselves in a safe and comfortable environment.”

The park is open between 11:00 and 20:00, Saturday to Thursday and Fridays from 10:00, while the beach is from 13:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:00 (Saturday to Thursday) and 14:00 to 19:00 on Fridays.

Individual admission tickets vary between Dh25 and Dh50, while a family pass (two children and adults) will cost Dh100.

There are extra charges for the watersport activities while packages and membership options are also available.

With so much to do, Mistry insists it will be a memorable visit.

“Whether you’re a water sports fanatic or someone who is looking to spend fun quality time with your family and friends, Wadi Adventure Al Ain is the ideal spot,” he said.
