Since the opening day of the tournament, the venue has attracted hundreds of spectators from all different nations and with all still to play for in the group stages as well as the knockout rounds, the numbers will surely increase.

All matches will be beamed live at the Club House and with 16 high-definition screens, including 11 in the Ramadan tent, wherever you sit or stand, you won’t miss that last-minute goal or controversial incident.

“We’ve had a huge number of people come to Abu Dhabi City Golf Club since Euro 2016 began,” said Steve Johns, head PGA golf professional at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club.

“The best thing about Abu Dhabi and the UAE is that it’s very multicultural with people of different nationalities. The tournament has been extended to 24 teams and that is great news because it means more people can cheer on their team in a major football tournament.”

Besides watching the matches, there are excellent beverage promotions on offer as well as a wide variety of international dishes.

“It’s not just about football for us. We have international menus serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family. We have some fantastic deals on beverages and we like to think of ourselves as your home away from home,” said Johns.

The venue will certainly be busy for encounters as England take on Slovakia, while Wales meet Russia with qualification still up for grabs. With thrilling affairs in Toulouse and Saint-Etienne predicted as well as Portugal’s crucial encounter against Hungary, Johns insists the club is the place to be in the capital.

“It really will be an electrifying atmosphere,” he said. “During the England v Wales game, it was vibrant and with everything still to play for, there are sure to be some thrilling games. With fantastic service, food, beverages and plenty of televisions, there’s no better place than Abu Dhabi City Golf Club.

“We open our arms to all nationalities to cheer on their team and there’s no entry fee to watch the games.”

England and Wales fans will be hoping to see their teams qualify.
