For those seeking an adrenaline rush this weekend, Gravity Zone’s latest challenge at Dubai Autodrome cannot be missed.

Following the festive period, it’s back to business for Gravity Zone and thrill seekers can begin the new year with a bang by experiencing the mind blowing jump from 50 metres high on Friday from 11:00.

Designed to test your limits, thousands have taken the leap since the attraction opened in 2012 and it’s no surprise it has earned rave reviews. And if you want to see why it’s highly rated, then sign up before 23:00 on Thursday with limited places available.

Open to participants aged 14 and above, it costs Dh360 per person while registration can be done via www.gravityzone.co.

While you may not think it’s for the faint-hearted, no bungee jumping experience is needed with all participants being briefed on the technical and safety aspects before the leap.

While it may just last a few seconds, Ramez Shawky, managing director of Gravity Zone, insists it’s one adventure trip people will always remember.

“Extreme sports are growing popular in the UAE with Dubai offering several activities but bungee jumping is by far one of the top choices for those who want to seek a mind-blowing adventure,” he said. “This was the perfect place to open Gravity Zone because it’s a tourist area and the landscape views are fantastic, especially when you see the beautiful track at Dubai Autodrome.”

He added: “You can’t really put into words what it feels like to bungee jump. It’s a very challenging decision like no other. The adrenaline rush has a really profound effect on our brains, hence our bodies. The jump is therefore a thrilling and unforgettable experience.

“It will be an outing that will leave them in awe. As some jumpers have mentioned to me before, ‘your whole life flashes in front of your eyes for few seconds’. Usually people are lost for words but I’m not surprised as it’s a totally unbelievable and is out of this world.”
