Neymar is one of the best players in the world and as such, receives plenty of criticism, especially when he doesn’t meet high expectations.

His Brazil team-mate Casemiro, however, laughed off the idea that the squad are protecting Neymar at the World Cup.

“Protect Neymar? Neymar is a world-class star for a long time. Neymar knows how to deal with critics,” Casemiro said.
