Germany crashed out of the World Cup on Wednesday at the hands of South Korea, who scored twice in injury time to put the nail in the title holders’ coffin.

Joachim Low‘s men were on their way to elimination anyways with the score even entering injury time, but South Korea ensured it would be the case as Kim Young-Gwon’s strike held up after a VAR review and Son Heung-Min added the finishing touches.

Check out the two goals from the game in animation below.

Off a South Korea corner, the ball took multiple deflections before it found Kim wide open in front of goal. Though it was originally ruled offside, VAR found the deflection came off a German defender, which allowed the goal to stand.

With goalkeeper Manuel Neuer up the field an no one to man the net, South Korea took advantage as Ju Se-Jong boomed a kick from his own half that was just off the mark, only for Son to tap it home.
